What do you do exactly?
We exist to take ideas that we come across, questions that we are interested in and projects of people we love and make them a reality. At the moment we are spending most of our time trying to figure out how to get thousands of people jobs that have meaning, money and community.
We help bring the right people to an idea. We raise money for projects if necessary. We incubate others ideas on occasion. We experiment, we fail and we try to record as much of our learning as possible.
In case you haven't clicked around- check out our mission, our projects, and then help us do it. If you still have questions, please get in touch.
Do you have speakers available for my event?
Yes. Sometimes we speak. We have done action planning workshops that are interactive and engaging and we have run a workshop where we had people sit in silence for 40 minutes. If you are interested in having Dev Aujla speak at your event you can contact speakers.ca.
How do you fund your work?
People like you. Foundations like these.. Projects that bring in revenue like Continuum and by following the best peice of advice we were ever given: ask for advice, get money; ask for money, get advice.
Do you want to give us some advice ?
Are you working on all the questions on your site?
No. The questions are all different things that we are thinking about. Some of the best questions turn into full projects, such as this one and this one, but others remain something we are thinking about and answering when we have time. See a not very updated list of some of the questions we are thinking about.
How can I get involved?
There are many ways to get involved with DreamNow and all of our programs. Visit our Help Us page to see a list. We look forward to working with you.
Why did you change the site?
We decided it was time to actually share with you all of what we have been working on. Our old site only had one aspect of what we did, which was the online application we use for the Continuum program. These tools will still be available if you have already begun using them.
New members will have to either attend one of our partners' conferences or get involved by sharing advice with others through the new Continuum Site, which is coming soon. We made this change so we can focus on supporting the individuals that are on our site, ensuring our effort is focused on the quality of the action being taken versus the quantity.
New members will still be able to create profiles on the new Continuum Site but they will only be able to offer advice, resources, and support to current Continuum participants. By offering advice, individuals will be able to earn registration, flights and accommodation to leading social change conferences in addition to having the opportunity to be hired as a DreamNow advisor.
Let us know what you think. We would love to hear from you.
